Gullringsbo Konstsamling, 2022

This poster was produced for the exhibition Gullringsbo Konstsamling, held at Hospitalet, Stockholm, in 2022. Over a decade ago, Erika Hellman founded Gullringsbo Konstsamling. Part of the collection is housed at Gullringsbo Egendomar’s headquarters in central Stockholm. In 2021, and in collaboration with Carl Kostyál, Gullringsbo opened the doors to a major new contemporary art gallery, Hospitalet, located in Nacka– a notorious 18th century former mental asylum that has had many incarnations since ceasing to be a sanitorium in the early part of the last century, including as storage for Stockholm’s national museums during World War II. The classical building overlooks Gamla Stan (the Old Town) and the Royal Park of Djurgården. ‘Gullringsbo Konstsamling’ was the first iteration of the collection of Gullringsbo Konstsamling at Hospitalet. A celebration of the collection and the artists which make it what it is, the exhibition had a second iteration in 2o23 with ‘Gullringsbo 2.0’.
